Cross-eyed Siamese Cat Benjamin turns 7

Our dearest Benjamin turns 7 this month. We do not know his exact birthday as he was rescued when he was around 2 months old by a friend of C.A.T.S. in 2008. We were lucky to become his family. We gave him the name Benjamin because he looked like a serious old man when he was a kitten, just like Benjamin Button depicted by Brat Pitt in the movie. Following please enjoy some pictures of our Ben over the years. We love you Ben!

Monster in the bedroom!

The other day, we discovered a monster in the bedroom!

It has a blue head. It scared all the other cats away!

It ate all the food!

It had a cat’s face!

It jumped onto the bed!
It’s kinda cute…
Here comes a human’s hand…
Whacha doing?! Lemme alone!
Plato: put it back on me…

Panasonic GF5 + 14mm F/2.5 video test shot

We did a test video shot with the newly purchased Panasonic GF5 Micro 4/3 camera and a Panasonic Lumix 14mm f/2.5 G Aspherical Lens the other afternoon and were very pleased about the result. Three cats definitely seemed to be enjoying their undisturbed naps and the auto focus function was easy to use and fast than expected. After all a convenient light weight addition to our camera arsenal.

When Fluffy was really small

I still clearly remember the first time to meet Fluff when he was still a tiny kitten. I picked him up right away as soon as I stepped into the adoption center, and he just melted in my arms. Did he look like a mini tiger back then?

Friendly greetings from a long-time resident in the adoption center — kittens are usually easier to be accepted by the other cats in the adoption center.
